BlurAnything processes video entirely on your Mac. Your video and audio files are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server operated by us or a third party.
We do not collect telemetry, analytics events, or crash reports without your permission. The desktop app asks once, on first launch, whether you want to share anonymous usage data (which presets you use, whether a run succeeds, how long it takes) to help us fix bugs and prioritize what to build. Your video, file names, and file paths are never included, nothing is tied to your identity, and declining costs you nothing.
License activation may verify your purchase against our licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy, using your license key, a randomly generated installation identifier, and a human-readable device name. The app periodically revalidates that license and allows a 14-day offline grace period. These requests never include your video, file names, or file paths.
This website uses Mixpanel only when a production analytics token is configured. It records explicit page and conversion-funnel events. Autocapture and session replay are disabled, and browser Do Not Track preferences are respected. Website analytics never receives video files from the desktop app.
